Filing taxes is a nerve-wracking experience for most. Our task was to break down an inherently complex process into logical, easy-to-follow steps—without compromising on compliance or accuracy. From income categorization to deductions, each flow had to account for dozens of variations.

Another big challenge was the integration of real-time PAN and GST validation. Given the sensitive nature of tax data, security, audit logs, and encryption had to be implemented at every layer. Load balancing during peak tax seasons was also a key concern.

We also needed to deliver smart help features, as most users would need guidance during the process—chat support, contextual tooltips, and automated deduction suggestions were must-haves.
