GlobaLink is a global job portal designed for skilled professionals seeking international opportunities. The platform connects job seekers to verified recruiters across sectors like tech, healthcare, and education. Its strength lies in smart job-matching algorithms, multilingual support, and cross-border compliance.

Our client wanted to build more than just a job board—they wanted a gateway for global talent migration, resume curation, and secure onboarding. consoleIO was brought on board to design and develop this platform from scratch with scalability in mind.

The Challenge

Global job-seeking is layered with complexities: legal paperwork, document verification, location limitations, and cross-currency transactions. We had to build a job-matching engine that goes beyond keywords and considers experience, skill alignment, visa readiness, and recruiter criteria.

The platform also had to support multiple languages, currencies, and regional formatting—making it truly global. Privacy laws like GDPR and country-specific data protection mandates added further development layers.

Recruiters needed tools to manage applicants efficiently, post jobs in bulk, schedule interviews, and track candidate pipelines—all without making the system clunky.

Our Approach

We developed the frontend using React and powered the backend with Node.js and PostgreSQL. Elasticsearch improved job search accuracy, while i18n enabled fast multi-language support. Resume parsing was automated, and employers could use a score-based filter to rank candidates.

We also built a video interview scheduler and supported job alerts through SMS and email. Candidates had role-based dashboards for tracking application progress, while recruiters could manage listings and communication from one screen.

Today, GlobaLink serves thousands of users across 40+ countries and continues to scale as a trusted global hiring partner.
