BizInsight – Business Analytics Dashboard
Overview
BizInsight is a fully customizable analytics platform developed to serve enterprises looking for real-time business intelligence across departments. It was built for CXOs and mid-level managers to monitor performance metrics, make data-driven decisions, and share reports instantly.
The goal was to provide a SaaS-style solution with drag-and-drop dashboards, third-party integrations (CRM, ERP), and customizable widgets—all while ensuring enterprise-level data security. The client’s vision was a centralized platform that would reduce reliance on Excel sheets and disconnected tools.
We brought this idea to life with a modular, component-driven architecture and a sleek UI that simplifies even the most complex datasets.
The Challenge
Our client had used multiple off-the-shelf tools, but none met their expectations. Either the UI was too technical, or the dashboards weren’t customizable. Our goal was to provide interactive visualizations, custom filters, user-level roles, and live reporting—all wrapped in an intuitive interface.
Scalability was key. As more departments joined the platform, the system needed to support thousands of users without lag. The dashboards also needed to sync with CRMs like Salesforce and fetch data from cloud services like Google Sheets, which required robust API integration and data normalization.
Security was non-negotiable. The solution had to pass regular audits and protect sensitive KPIs with role-based access control.
Our Approach
We built the frontend using Angular and integrated Chart.js for dynamic data visualizations. The backend, hosted on Firebase, included real-time sync, cloud functions, and secure user authentication. Each dashboard widget could be customized and saved as a personal or team-wide view.
Users could filter data by department, date, or custom segments and export their dashboards as PDFs or Excel files. Our white-labeling feature allowed the client to rebrand the platform and offer it to their customers, opening up a new revenue stream.
The product was a success—within weeks of launch, internal reporting time was cut by 80%, and adoption rates exceeded expectations.
